Since being founded in 1991 and based in the Austrian Tyrol, Fasti had served both the injection and blow moulding sectors of the Plastics Industry with innovative technologies’ making plastic processing easier and more efficient.
Fasti specialised in drying and cooling applications, creating high quality products that are not only reliable to the highest quality but are easy to handle with the minimum of energy consumption and virtually maintenance free.
Now the newly formed company and it's sales of Blue Air equipment is worldwide and very capably backed by its after sales service support team, offering both telephone advice and service call out.
Product range still includes:
CAC: Chilled air to -34ºC improves the cycle of extrusion blown articles by inner cooling of the hollow article during the blowing cycle.
MSP: Allows injection and blow moulding without condensation of the moulds. This is achieved by creating a dry climate in the moulding area. Blue Air fills the the enclosed area with dry process air with a Dew Point of 3ºC. This allows the chilled cooling water temperature to be maintained without resulting in condensation.
ERD: Drying resin with compressed air is the economic alternative to more conventional drying systems. The technology of the ERD guarantees perfect drying results with low operating costs and virtually maintenance free unlike some of the alternatives. The operating cost can be further reduced by recovering the exhaust air from the moulding machine. When the pre dried compressed air is expanded to atmospheric pressure, the dew point of the process air sinks to a low level. The process air is then heated to the desired temperature (depends on the material to be dried) and released into the drying hopper.
